The Phreno Algorithm Employs Advanced Code Filtering for Enhanced Data Reliability. With Over 36,000 Data Points per Minute, Every Part of the Head Is Thoroughly Represented. This Raw Data Is Crucial for Athlete Well-being and Enhancing Athletic Environments.

The Sensor

An athlete takes a fall, Phreno's sensor detects the impact immediately and sends the data to the app via bluetooth, analyzes it, and our app alerts the user or medical staff with a detailed report on the impact's severity. This quick, actionable data is what sets us apart, ensuring fast and accurate responses to protect athletes.

The App

Our app receives the impact data and analyzes it within seconds, then alerts the user or medical staff with a detailed report on the impact's severity. The app provides the user with extremely detailed reports on the impact which can be used in conjunction with the SCAT5 concussion test to provide the best diagnosis possible.

The Algorithm

Once an impact is detected, the algorithm analyzes the data against predefined thresholds that are scientifically linked to concussion risk. This might involve calculations to assess the force, angle, and location of the impact relative to known concussion-inducing impacts. The algorithm evaluates the analyzed data to estimate the risk of concussion. This step often uses machine learning models that have been trained on large datasets of documented head injuries to predict concussion likelihood based on impact characteristics.
